ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) is a progressive and disabling joint disease driven by oxidative stress, chondrocyte senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation, yet lacks effective disease‐modifying treatments. In this study, we identified miR‐197‐3p as a previously unrecognized, cartilage‐protective miRNA significantly downregulated in both ...

An orally administered prebiotic polysaccharide hydrogel (predaGel) based on inulin and alginate‐dopamine is stable in the stomach, adheres to the intestine, and degrades slowly in the colon. It enables site‐specific delivery of anti‐TNF‐α and anti‐IL‐12/23 antibodies, scavenges reactive oxygen species, and remodels gut microbiota, offering effective ...

A nebulized nanoassembly alleviates radiation‐induced lung injury by reprogramming macrophages through coordinated ROS scavenging, NAD+ replenishment, and PPAR‐γ activation. Redox balance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and immune regulation are restored, revealing a microenvironment‐centered strategy for localized radioprotection.

Relations between polyphenols content and antioxidant activity in vine grapes and leaves
The occurrence and content of some polyphenols and the antioxidant activity of compounds present in grape berries, stems and leaves of Vitis vinifera L. were evaluated. Three white and three blue varieties of grapevine were investigated.

Orally administered, pH‐responsive Co‐SAN exerts dual functions: in the alkaline intestinal milieu, it scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and suppresses the PI3K/AKT pathway and NETs formation, thus providing radioprotection; whereas in the acidic tumor microenvironment, it generates ROS and alleviates hypoxia, thereby enhancing radiosensitization.

Multi-experimental characterisation of grape skin extracts
Grape skins contain a plenty of different flavonoids, most of them revealing significant antioxidant properties. In this contribution, a complex study is presented of grape skin ethanol extracts, prepared from grape skins of two vine grape varieties ...

A disulfide‐sticker strategy, coupled with Ca2+ coordination, drives the hierarchical self‐assembly of a recombinant scallop adhesive protein into fishnet‐like nanostructures, affording a coating with versatile wet adhesion and intrinsic antioxidant activity. This biocompatible coating markedly promotes hair regeneration by activating follicular niches,

This study unravels that bone fracture accelerates diabetic wound healing by releasing exosomal microRNA (miR‐130b‐3p). To mimic this bone‐skin crosstalk, we engineered a self‐assembling agomir‐130b‐3p nanocomplex. Delivered via a photocrosslinkable hydrogel, this bio‐inspired therapy provides sustained localized agomir release.
