Research on Control Algorithm for DYC and Integrated Control with 4WS

2009 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Natural Computing, 2009
The best advantage of the DYC is it can greatly improve vehicle handling and stability. It is proposed integrated control of four wheel steering systems (4WS) and direct yaw moment control. A desirable vehicle model is established with the best performance of side slip angle and yaw rate.

The benefits and costs of DyC's run-time optimizations

ACM Transactions on Programming Languages and Systems, 2000
DyC selectively dynamically compiles programs during their execution, utilizing the run-time-computed values of variables and data structures to apply optimizations that are based on partial evaluation. The dynamic optimizations are preplanned at static compile time in order to reduce their run-time cost; we call this staging

A Coordination Approach for DYC and Active Front Steering

SAE Technical Paper Series, 2001
<div class="htmlview paragraph">Integrating chassis control systems can lead to improvements in the safety, efficiency of action and overall production of a modern car. The sharing of information between chassis sub-systems allows the controller to take the optimum course of action since it has more than one option to affect the dynamics of a ...

An evaluation of staged run-time optimizations in DyC

ACM SIGPLAN Notices, 1999
Previous selective dynamic compilation systems have demonstrated that dynamic compilation can achieve performance improvements at low cost on small kernels, but they have had difficulty scaling to larger programs. To overcome this limitation, we developed DyC, a selective dynamic compilation system that includes more sophisticated and flexible analyses

Multiple-Objective Adaptive Cruise Control System Integrated With DYC

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2019
Adaptive cruise control (ACC) is one of key technologies of advanced driver assistance systems. Challenges still need to be solved to improve the performance of ACC, such as ensuring vehicle dynamic stability during car following processes on curved roads, and driving comfort.
