Activation of Cbx7 by HPV16 E7.
E7 molecular functions, binding partners and network interactants remain incompletely defined. We studied E7 molecular function through measurement of total transcription by RNA-sequencing in HPV- C33A cells following ectopic expression of HPV16 E7. We demonstrate here activation of Cbx7 by HPV16 HPV E7.

Regulation of human papillomavirus E6 and E7 by anisomelic acid: A focus on E6 and E7 degradation
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main etiological factor in cervical cancer and plays an important role in the increasing number of head and neck cancers. Persistent infection is sustained by the viral proteins E6 and E7, which disrupt key host signalling pathways and drive malignant transformation.
