Neutral currents in the E7 theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1979
Abstract We show that in the E 7 scheme of grand unification there is a possibility to describe weak and electromagnetic interactions by the gauge group SU(3) × [U (1)] 3 . Being in good agreement with the available data, the E 7 model yields such specific predictions as small W- and Z-boson masses and μ -e non-universality in neutral currents.
