Profiling of EBV-Encoded microRNAs in EBV-Associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis
Epstein-Barr virus-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (EBV-HLH) is a life-threatening complication of EBV infection. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) were small non-coding RNA, and EBV could encode miRNAs that are involved in the progression of infection. However, the profiles of EBV-miRNAs in EBV-HLH were unknown. Here, we aimed to profile the expression

ABSTRACT Differentiation syndrome (DS) and Sweet syndrome (SS) are inflammatory complications mediated by cytokine dysregulation, classically associated with therapies that promote myeloid differentiation or cytokine release. While DS has been primarily linked to all‐trans retinoic acid (ATRA) and IDH inhibitors, recent evidence suggests that ...

Modulation of cellular signaling by herpesvirus-encoded G protein-coupled receptors
Human herpesviruses are widespread infectious pathogens that have been associated with proliferative and inflammatory diseases. During viral evolution, human herpesviruses have pirated genes encoding viral G protein-coupled receptors (vGPCRs), which are ...

Radiotherapy‐Induced Otitis Media With Effusion in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma: A Meta‐Analysis
This meta‐analysis of eight studies comprising 582 NPC patients provides the first quantitative synthesis of radiotherapy‐induced otitis media with effusion (OME), demonstrating a significant overall risk difference of 0.18 (95% CI: −0.06 to 0.42, p < 0.0001) in OME naive ears.
