Coacervate‐Mediated Lysosome‐Targeting Antibody Delivery for Protein Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 25, 4 May 2026.
Targeting coacervates to the lysosome in the cytoplasm is a challenge. Here, we convert a tetrapeptide into lysosome‐targeting, membrane‐translocating coacervates. The lysosome‐sorting peptide coacervates facilitate coacervate‐mediated delivery of antibody antigen complexes and a PROTAC compound to the lysosome for the targeted degradation of cancer ...

Beyond Extracellular Vesicle (EV) Hype: Practical Solutions and Remaining Hurdles in EV Research, Manufacturing, and Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 26, 8 May 2026.
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale mediators of intercellular communication with diverse molecular cargoes that reflect their cell of origin. Advances in isolation, detection, and single‐particle analytics have revealed increasing molecular and functional heterogeneity, while exposing limitations in how EV identity and activity are ...

Sensing and Filtering Environmental Fluctuations: The Case of Biomolecular Condensates in Plants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 27, 13 May 2026.
The diversity of plant condensates reflects constraints of sessile organisms to coordinate postembryonic development with environmental adaptation. This review examines how plants employ condensates to integrate temperature, light, redox, and nutrient signals.

Organelle‐Targeted Photosensitizer‐Loaded Nanodiscs for Improved Tumor Photoimmunotherapy

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
Four organelle‐targeted photosensitizers (PSs) based on pyropheophorbide a (Ppa), which specifically target mitochondria, lysosomes, ER, and nucleus, respectively, were synthesized. These PSs were individually encapsulated into sHDL nanodiscs to improve their stability, biocompatibility, and targeting efficiency.
