Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Research of fault line selection method for small current grounding system based on multi-source information fusio

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2013
In view of problem of difficult fault line selection for small current grounding system, the paper proposed a fault line selection method for small current grounding system based on multi-source information fusion.

Study on a new fault phase selector in interconnection line with wind turbine based on doubly-fed induction generator’s wind farm

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
The fault current characteristics of wind turbine based on doubly fed induction generator (DFIGWT) is complicated. The conventional superimposed phase selectors cannot meet the requirements of phase selection in the interconnection line based on DFIGWT’s

Two-Dimension Fault Line Selection Method Based on Transient Signal Features of Fault Phase

open access: yes, 2011
When single-line-to-ground fault happen in neutral non-effectively earthed system, there is a big difference between the fault feeder and un-fault feeder in transient signal energy centralized frequency band and signal amplitude of fault phase.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Transmission Line Fault-Cause Identification Based on Hierarchical Multiview Feature Selection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Fault-cause identification plays a significant role in transmission line maintenance and fault disposal. With the increasing types of monitoring data, i.e., micrometeorology and geographic information, multiview learning can be used to realize the ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

The Fault Line Selection Method of Small Current Grounding System Based on Wavelet Transformation

open access: yes, 2011
In order to make full use of small current grounding system transient information and to improve the accuracy of fault line selection, a method based on wavelet transformation was proposed.

From model, signal to knowledge: a data-driven perspective of fault detection and diagnosis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This review paper is to give a full picture of fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) in complex systems from the perspective of data processing. As a matter of fact, an FDD system is a data-processing system on the basis of information redundancy, in which

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...
