Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Analysis of grounding performance for different bio filler medium effect [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The importance of grounding system is when any fault current due to the power system problem, or lightning, can allow that dangerous current passes through the earth.

Differential regulation of ZFAS1 splice variants by endoplasmic reticulum stress in hepatocyte cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Nonunit protection based on the ratio of IVRW tangent envelope area for modular multilevel converter based HVDC grid

open access: yesScientific Reports
In modular multilevel converters-based DC power grid, short faults develop rapidly and have complex characteristics. The power electronic converter has a limited ability to withstand overcurrent. So, protection needs to quickly identify the fault area in

Fault-Resistant Partitioning of Secure CPUs for System Co-Verification against Faults

open access: yesIACR Transactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
Fault injection attacks are a serious threat to system security, enabling attackers to bypass protection mechanisms or access sensitive information. To evaluate the robustness of CPU-based systems against these attacks, it is essential to analyze the consequences of the fault propagation resulting from the complex interplay between the software and the

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Study on the Influence of Grounding Resistance on Cable Fault Overvoltage

open access: yesEnergies
The cable grounding connecting method and grounding resistance have a significant influence on the cable fault overvoltage. This paper considers a 500 kV long cable project in Beijing as the research object; a model was implemented in ATP-EMTP, and ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

The development of the impedance measured by distance relay [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper explains the possibility of implementation of a model of a quadrilateral characteristic type of distance relay with the zones using MATLAB/SIMULINK package. SimPowerSystem was used to present modeling of distance relay.

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.
