A New Single End Wideband Impedance Based Fault Location Scheme for Distribution Systems
This paper proposes an improved impedance based fault location scheme based on system analysis at non-fundamental frequencies. The fault is treated as a voltage source that injects high frequency components into the system and the analysis is carried out

Reduction Effect of Semiconductor Type Fault Current Limiter on Interrupting Duty of a Circuit Breaker [PDF]
Calculations were carried out to study the effect of a semiconductor type of fault current limiter (FCL) upon the interrupting duty imposed on a circuit breaker when a fault occurs at a distance of 1 to 8 km downstream from the load side terminals of the

Due to the distinctive fault characteristics of wind power converters in large-capacity wind farms (WFs) with power converter-based systems, protective relays for the connected transmission lines can malfunction, which poses a serious challenge to the ...

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Precise Impedance Based Fault Location Algorithm with Fault Resistance Seperation
The reactance method with fault resistance separation has been developed in order to determine as precisely as possible the value of a faulty loop’s impedance in transmission or distribution power system line.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Generation and Verification of Tests for Analog Circuits Subject to Process Parameter Deviations
The paper presents a test stimulus generation and fault simulation methodology for the detection of catastrophic faults in analog circuits. The test methodology chosen for evaluation is RMS AC supply current monitoring.
