E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Operational control and protection implications of fault current limitation in distribution networks

open access: yes, 2009
Rising short-circuit fault current levels is one of the problems associated with the increased presence of distributed generation (DG) in electrical networks.

Process variation-aware test for resistive bridges [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper analyses the behaviour of resistive bridging faults under process variation and shows that process variation has a detrimental impact on test quality in the form of test escapes.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Impact of fault resistance and fault distance on fault current reduction ratio of hybrid SFCL

open access: yesInternational Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, 2017
Summary Superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs), as the novel power system devices, have attracted attentions in the last years. However, in order to achieve the maximum benefit from SFCLs, their interaction with power system should be comprehensively evaluated before equipping the power system with them.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Fault Location of Generator Stator with Single-Phase High-Resistance Grounding Fault Based on Signal Injection

open access: yes
This paper proposes a novel method for locating single-phase grounding faults in generator stator windings with high resistance, which are typically challenging to locate due to weak fault characteristics.

Approximate Entropy Based Fault Localization and Fault Type Recognition for Non-solidly Earthed Network

open access: yesMeasurement Science Review, 2012
For non-solidly earthed network, the fault localization of single phase grounding fault has been a problem. A novel fault localization and fault type recognition method of single phase grounding fault based on approximate entropy is presented.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
