Temperature Cycle Reliability Analysis of an FBAR Filter-Bonded Ceramic Package

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
On the background that the operating frequency of electronic devices tends to the radio frequency (RF) segment, a film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) filter is widely used in communication and military fields because of its advantages of high upper ...

Super-high sensitivity FBAR temperature sensor based on size effect of Ti insertion layer

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2021
The temperature sensitivity is one of the critical parameters for the thin film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) based temperature sensors. In this work, FBARs with Au/Fe _0.8 Ga _0.2 /Ti/AlN/Mo structure are developed.

MEMS‐Based Magnetoelectric Antennas for Wireless Power Transmission in Brain‐Implantable Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 3, 5 February 2026.
Magnetoelectric (ME) antennas allow the minimization of the invasiveness of brain implantable devices, via powering wirelessly systems able to actuate neural tissue. In order to achieve the necessary power efficiency transmission, the choice of the materials and the system assembly is vital.

Fabrication of Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonator with Multilayer Graphene Electrode

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), Volume 262, Issue 12, December 2025.
Herein, multilayer graphene structures are grown on the silicon substrate for the fabrication of the bulk acoustic wave resonator device. The result reveals that both methods can be used to replace the Bragg reflector. Two bulk acoustic wave resonator (BAW) devices with multilayer graphene as bottom electrodes are fabricated using the chemical vapor ...

Direct RF to Optical Link Based on Film Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonators (FBAR)

open access: yesConference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 2016
We demonstrate conversion of a 10GHz radio frequency signal directly to fiber optics. A Fabry-Perot cavity formed between a fiber tip and an AlN-film acoustic resonator electrode enables resonantly enhanced phase modulation of back-reflected light.

One watt gallium arsenide class-E power amplifier with a thin-film bulk acoustic resonator filter embedded in the output network

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2015
Integration of a class-E power amplifier (PA) and a thin-film bulk acoustic wave resonator (FBAR) filter is shown to provide high power added efficiency in addition to superior out-of-band spectrum suppression.

Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis and Characterization of Quasi-Surface Acoustic Wave Resonators

open access: yesMicromachines, 2021
In this work, three-dimensional finite element analysis (3D FEA) of quasi-surface acoustic wave (QSAW) resonators with high accuracy is reported. The QSAW resonators consist of simple molybdenum (Mo) interdigitated transducers (IDT) on solidly mounted ...
