Fabrication of Fish Gelatin Microfibrous Mats by Solution Blow Spinning [PDF]

In this work microfiber mats of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) gelatin were successfully fabricated by using Solution Blow Spinning technique. The concentration and viscosity of fish gelatin solution, in acid acetic/water (80% v/v), were correleted to the morphology and diameter of the gelatin microfibers.

Ultrasoft Iontronics: Stretchable Diodes Enabled by Ionically Conductive Bottlebrush Elastomers

This work introduces a solvent‐free, ultrasoft, and stretchable ionic diode based on oppositely charged bottlebrush elastomers (BBEs). The BBE diode exhibits an ultralow Young's modulus (<23 kPa), a high rectification ratio of 46, and stretchability over 400%.

Magnetically Guided Mechanoactive Mineralization Scaffolds for Enhanced Bone Regeneration

A 3D‐printed ‘rebar‐concrete’ inspired scaffold (PGS‐P@MGel) synergizes spontaneous biomineralization with magneto‐mechanical stimulation through PDA@Fe3O4‐embedded hydrogel. This dual biointerface activates Piezo1/β‐catenin/YAP mechanotransduction axis, enhancing BMSCs osteogenesis and angiogenesis simultaneously.

Functional Hydrogel for Modulating Lipid Droplets and Neuroinflammation in Head Injury

After TBI, elevated cholesterol levels in activated microglia lead to the accumulation of cholesterol esters in lipid droplets, exacerbating neuroinflammation. A β‐cyclodextrin‐conjugated GelMA (βCD‐GelMA) hydrogel is developed to promotes cholesterol efflux and reduces LDL influx, thereby alleviating intracellular cholesterol and lipid droplet buildup.
