SuFEx‐Enabled Reprogramming of Flavonoids for Selective α‐Glucosidase Covalent Inhibition
Selective inhibition of intestinal α‐glucosidase remains limited by poor enzyme specificity and off‐target metabolic effects. Here, SuFEx click chemistry is used to reprogram natural flavonoids into covalent inhibitors with enhanced α‐glucosidase selectivity and controlled reactivity. This strategy enables effective regulation of carbohydrate digestion

Flavones and Flavone Glycosides from Salvia macrosiphon Boiss.
Salvia genus, which is generally called Maryam-Goli in the Persian language, belongs to Lamiaceae family and comprises 58 species in Iran. Four flavonoids plus a steroid compound were isolated from the ethyl acetate and methanol extracts of the aerial parts of Salvia macrosiphon Boiss, using different chromatographic methods on the silica gel and ...

Synthesis and studies of flavone and bis-flavone derivatives
Flavonoids are widely occurring polyphenols of plant origin and well explored in the field of pharmacological activities. Recent studies showed this scaffold to be more dynamic as fluorescent probe. Very rare reports are there in literature on flavones as liquid crystals, for the first time we have synthesized and characterized flavone and bis-flavone ...
