Additive Manufacturing of Patient‐Specific Intracranial Aneurysm Cell Culture Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Patient‐specific intracranial aneurysm models were fabricated using chocolate moulding, 3D printed water‐soluble cores, and direct resin 3D printing. Moulding PDMS around sacrificial cores made of chocolate or 3D printed water‐soluble resin yielded accurate, expandable, and endothelializable models that outperformed resin‐based approaches.

Study of the Effect of Temperature on the Properties of Gelatin-Chitosan Cryogels

open access: yesBulletin of the Karaganda University. "Chemistry" series, 2022
Cryopolymers are a class of 3D structural polymers, which are widely used in tissue engineering. Using cryo-polymerization technology, physical cross-linked macroporous cryogels based on gelatin and chitosan were synthesized at –12 ºC, –30 ºC and –70 ºC for application as carriers for cell cultures.
