Long Term Follow‐Up After Transplantation in Propionic Acidemia: A Retrospective French Pediatric and Adult Cohort Study

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 49, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Propionic acidemia (PA) is a rare inherited metabolic disorder associated with recurrent metabolic decompensations and chronic multisystemic complications. Liver transplantation (LT) may improve metabolic stability, but its long‐term impact on organ involvement remains debated.

Cross‐Level Regulatory Interactions Underlying Human Immune Aging

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
We performed multi‐omics sequencing on peripheral blood samples from 69 individuals aged 23–75 years and identified multi‐layered molecular interaction networks underlying the process of immune senescence, which provides a comprehensive multi‐omics framework for understanding immune aging and identifying potential strategies to delay immunosenescence ...

Cellular Senescence and Aging: Mechanisms, Disease Convergence, and Therapeutic Frontiers

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
This schematic illustrates the hierarchical and interconnected nature of the primary molecular hallmarks of aging. The progression of aging is driven by a convergence of intrinsic molecular insults. Within the nucleus, genomic instability and telomere attrition trigger persistent DDR, accompanied by extensive epigenetic alterations.

Nanopore Sequencing for HPV in Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Benign Tonsil Specimens

open access: yesOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Volume 175, Issue 1, Page 136-144, July 2026.
Abstract Objectives Human papillomavirus (HPV) accounts for the majority of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) cases in the United States but understanding the prevalence of high‐risk HPV in oropharyngeal tissue remains poor. We evaluated nanopore sequencing, a novel rapid, and long‐read sequencing platform, on OPSCC tissue and tested it in ...

Natural Products as Modulators of ABC Transporters in Breast Cancer

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, Volume 40, Issue 7, Page 4611-4637, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Breast cancer remains a significant global health challenge, with high incidence and mortality rates despite advancements in early detection and treatment. Multidrug resistance (MDR), particularly in aggressive subtypes like triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC), continues to hinder effective therapy.

Cellular Heterogeneity During Arterial Aging

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 7, July 2026.
Graphical abstract showing arterial cell subpopulations and their functional changes during aging. Transcriptomic profiling studies across species identify age‐associated endothelial, smooth muscle, fibroblast, and immune cell states characterized by inflammation, extracellular matrix remodeling, phenotypic switching, and cellular senescence ...
