Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Organization and sequence of the gene encoding the human acrosin-trypsin inhibitor (HUSI-II) [PDF]
A complete cDNA encoding the acrosin-trypsin inhibitor, HUSI-II, was used as a probe to isolate genomic clones from a human placenta library. Three clones which cover the entire HUSI-II gene were isolated and characterized.

Comparative genome analysis and genome-guided physiological analysis of Roseobacter litoralis [PDF]
AbstractBackgroundRoseobacter litoralisOCh149, the type species of the genus, andRoseobacter denitrificansOCh114 were the first described organisms of theRoseobacterclade, an ecologically important group of marine bacteria. Both species were isolated from seaweed and are able to perform aerobic anoxygenic photosynthesis.ResultsThe genome ofR ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Integrated molecular characterization of adult soft tissue sarcoma for therapeutic targets
Background Several studies have investigated the molecular drivers and therapeutic targets in adult soft tissue sarcomas. However, such studies are limited by the genomic heterogeneity and rarity of sarcomas, particularly in those with complex and ...

The hardwiring of development: Organization and function of genomic regulatory systems [PDF]
The gene regulatory apparatus that directs development is encoded in the DNA, in the form of organized arrays of transcription factor target sites. Genes are regulated by interactions with multiple transcription factors and the target sites for the ...
