A Robust Deep Temporal Causal Discovery Platform for Single‐Cell Gene Regulatory Network Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
scTIGER2.0 is a deep‐learning framework that infers gene regulatory networks from single‐cell RNA sequencing data. By integrating correlation, pseudotime ordering, deep learning and bootstrap‐based significance testing, it reduces false positives and reveals directional gene interactions.

Female‐Specific Risk of TAS2R Variants in Chronic Rhinosinusitis: A Hospital‐Based Cohort Study From the Taiwan Precision Medicine Initiative

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Bitter taste receptors (T2Rs) function in the innate immune defense of the sinonasal mucosa; however, the genetic association between the TAS2R gene family and chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) remains understudied in Asian populations.

Alignment of TM7 in adhesion-GPCRs.

open access: yes, 2014
ClustalW was used to perform an amino acid sequence alignment of the L640 residue in adhesion-GPCRs. L640 is not conserved among the majority of adhesion GPCRs.

Von In‐Silico bis In‐Cerebro – Entwicklung des Orexinrezeptor Antagonisten „Photorexant“ zur Photomodulation In Vitro und im Gehirn der Maus

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

GPCRs in invertebrate innate immunity

open access: yes, 2016
International audienceG-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) represent a privileged point of contact between cells and their surrounding environment. They have been widely adopted in vertebrates as mediators of signals involved in both innate and adaptive ...

In Silico to In Cerebro—Development of the Orexin Receptor Antagonist “Photorexant” for Photomodulation In Vitro and in Mouse Brains

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Following a structure‐based design approach, photoswitchable derivatives of the FDA‐approved drug suvorexant were designed, docked, synthesized, and characterized pharmacologically at the orexin 1 and 2 receptors (OX1R and OX2R). Optimized “photorexant” showed up to an 11‐fold difference in IC50 between photoisomers, enabled dynamic and reversible ...

GPCRs receptors prefer lipid rafts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
GPCRs (G-protein coupled receptors) are “seven-transmembrane” proteins known to be ubiquitous in mammalian cells. Such receptors are involved in many diseases, and hence they are targeted by many drugs.

Gut Health in Ostriches (Struthio camelus): Insights Into Intestinal Structure, Functions, Microbiome, and Improvement Strategies

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Our paper systematically reviews the intestinal structure, function, and microbiota of ostriches, along with strategies for improving their gut health. We analyze how these factors collectively influence intestinal homeostasis and ostrich welfare, emphasizing probiotics as a promising intervention to enhance gut health, boost population well‐being, and

Enhancing Meat Quality Through Dietary Fiber: Insights Into the Gut Microbiota‐Derived Short‐Chain Fatty Acids‐Muscle Axis

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Dietary fiber (DF) modulates meat quality through the gut‐muscle axis by reshaping gut microbiota, improving intestinal integrity, reducing inflammation, and regulating muscle metabolism. These mechanisms influence muscle fiber characteristics and post‐mortem biochemistry, thereby enhancing tenderness, juiciness, color, flavor, and nutritional value of
