Decreased DHRS2 expression is associated with HDACi resistance and poor prognosis in ovarian cancer
Histone deacetylases (HDACs) have been linked to a variety of cancers, and HDAC inhibitors (HDACi) are a promising class of drugs that have demonstrated anti-cancer effects.

Lactylation of HDAC1 Confers Resistance to Ferroptosis in Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is highly resistant to ferroptosis, which hinders the application of anti‐ferroptosis therapy. Through drug screening, it is found that histone deacetylase inhibitor (HDACi) significantly sensitized CRC to ferroptosis.

Ex vivo response of patient-derived HIV LTRs to HDACi in A. SVG and B. HeLa cell lines.
(I) Each cell line was incubated with different concentrations of HDACi for 24 hr and toxicity was measured by the MTS assay. The cytotoxic concentration 50 (CC50) for each drug is shown.

Histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi) have been shown to render HPV-carrying cells susceptible to intrinsic and extrinsic apoptotic signals. As such, these epigenetic drugs have entered clinical trials in the effort to treat cervical cancer.

Altered expression and activity of histone deacetylases (HDACs) have been correlated with tumorigenesis. Inhibitors of HDACs (HDACi) induce acetylation of histone and non-histone proteins affecting gene expression, cell cycle progression, cell migration,

A) NK cells treated with or without HDACi (as PBMC) for 24h (effectors) were co-cultured or not with HIV-1 LAI-infected 100nM panobinostat treated CD4 T cells (targets) and uninfected CD4 T cells (non-targets) overnight at an E:T:NT ratio of 10:1:1 (n ...

Histone deacetylases (HDAC) catalyze N-terminal deacetylation of lysine-residues on histones and multiple nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins. In various animal models, such as trauma/hemorrhagic shock, ischemic stroke or myocardial infarction, HDAC ...
