Chemotherapy‐induced efferocytosis drives ovarian cancer stem cell enrichment. By engulfing apoptotic cancer cells, macrophages upregulate ODC1 and produce putrescine, which elevates osteopontin (OPN) expression. This study utilizes a whole‐body inhalation model to reveal that interior decorative VOCs exposure persistently elevates alveolar T cells. This increase is attributed to lymphoid‐biased hematopoiesis in the bone marrow, which is further driven by IL‐6/IL‐17A‐mediated osteogenic differentiation.

Gli1+ adventitial stem cells (ASCs) have been thought to generate smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in atherosclerosis. Using a dual‐recombinase lineage tracing to exclude ectopic labeling, Wang et al. found that Gli1+ ASCs do not contribute to SMCs in atherosclerotic plaques.

Osteocyte heterogeneity in bone remains poorly understood. This study identifies six distinct osteocyte subsets in mice, revealing a key subpopulation (BHR‐Ocys) that drives bone loss in osteoporosis. BHR‐Ocys promote osteoclast‐mediated resorption via a novel Sema5a‐Plxna1 signaling axis.
