Computation of confidence intervals in regression utilizing uncertain prior information [PDF]
We consider a linear regression model with regression parameter beta =(beta_1, ..., beta_p) and independent and identically N(0, sigma^2)distributed errors. Suppose that the parameter of interest is theta = a^T beta where a is a specified vector. Define the parameter tau = c^T beta - t where the vector c and the number t are specified and a and c are ...

Three PtIV prodrugs MRP, DRP, and HRP are designed to induce pyroptosis in low GSDME‐expressing tumor cells via the Caspase‐3/GSDME pathway. By relaxing chromatin and reactivating GSDME, HRP can effectively induce pyroptosis, enhance pro‐inflammatory cytokine production, and exhibit potent antitumor effects.

A comparison of Bayesian and frequentist interval estimators in regression that utilize uncertain prior information [PDF]
Consider a linear regression model with regression parameter beta and normally distributed errors. Suppose that the parameter of interest is theta = a^T beta where a is a specified vector. Define the parameter tau = c^T beta - t where c and t are specified and a and c are linearly independent.

The antioxidant efficacy of Colocasia esculenta flower’s methanolic extract was assessed using 2,2′‐azino‐bis‐(3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulfonic) (ABTS) and 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging assay. The hepatoprotective effect was investigated by assessing liver injury indicators (amino transferase [ALT], aspartate amino transferase [AST],

Transcription networks in liver development and acute liver failure
Acute liver failure (ALF) is a medical emergency due to massive hepatocyte loss. In such a harsh condition, maintaining transcriptional regulation in the remaining hepatocytes while activating similar transcription factor networks in liver progenitor ...

Label‐Free Microscale Technologies for Isolation of Heterogeneous Circulating Tumor Cells
The isolation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from liquid biopsy samples is crucial for cancer treatment and monitoring. This review evaluates primary label‐free isolation methods for capturing heterogeneous CTCs and examines their potential to provide deeper insights into tumor heterogeneity and dynamics of cancer progression.

The coverage probabililty of confidence intervals in regression after a preliminary F test [PDF]
Consider a linear regression model with regression parameter beta=(beta_1,..., beta_p) and independent normal errors. Suppose the parameter of interest is theta = a^T beta, where a is specified. Define the s-dimensional parameter vector tau = C^T beta - t, where C and t are specified.

Hepatic gluconeogenesis and regulatory mechanisms in lactating ruminants: A literature review
phosphoenolpyruvate carboxy kinase, FBP1, and glucose‐6‐phosphatase are key rate‐limiting enzymes that determine the efficiency of gluconeogenesis. The main substrate for gluconeogenesis in the liver of ruminants is propionate, which provides more than 60% of the carbon source for gluconeogenesis.
