A Compact Spin‐Coated Graphene UWB Antenna for Breast Tumor Detection
A compact, spin‐coated graphene ultra‐wideband patch antenna designed for breast tumor detection, capable of distinguishing between malignant and benign tumors. This innovative antenna can serve as an effective initial screening tool, particularly in resource‐limited settings such as rural areas, where access to advanced medical equipment like MRI and ...

Dielectric breakdown II: Related projects at the University of Twente [PDF]
In this paper an overview is given of the related activities in our group of the University of Twente. These are on thin film transistors with the inherent difficulty of making a gate dielectric at low temperature, on thin dielectrics for EEPROM devices ...

The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

AbstractNew dielectrics need more than a high dielectric constant. They need to satisfy various constraints concerning band offsets, limits on charge traps, processability, reproducibility, and stability against degradation and breakdown. It seems unlikely that purely empirical approaches will produce a dielectric which justifies major investment.

High‐frequency (HF) welding of steel is limited by oxide inclusions that degrade weld quality. This study demonstrates, for the first time, the integration of a nonthermal Ar/H2 dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma jet into HF welding. Local plasma treatment provides effective shielding and in‐situ oxide reduction, resulting in markedly fewer and ...

Vapor-deposited zeolitic imidazolate frameworks as gap-filling ultra-low-k dielectrics
Insulating materials combining a high mechanical stability, a low dielectric constant and the ability to completely fill narrow gaps are essential to fabricate interconnects for future high-performance chips.

The mechanism of ablation of solids by intense femtosecond laser pulses is described in an explicit analytical form. It is shown that at high intensities when the ionization of the target material is complete before the end of the pulse, the ablation ...

Dielectric screening in two-dimensional insulators: Implications for excitonic and impurity states in graphane [PDF]
For atomic thin layer insulating materials we provide an exact analytic form of the two-dimensional screened potential. In contrast to three-dimensional systems where the macroscopic screening can be described by a static dielectric constant in 2D ...
