Isolation, culture and identification of human adipose-derived stem cells
The aim of the present study was to improve methods for the isolation and identification of adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs). Human subcutaneous adipose tissue was collected during liposuction surgery, without ultrasound-assisted liposuction and other assisted techniques, and digested with 0.075% collagenase I.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Platelet lysate as a serum substitute for 2D static and 3D perfusion culture of stromal vascular fraction cells from human adipose tissue [PDF]
Fetal bovine serum (FBS) and fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-2 are key supplements for the culture of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells from adipose tissue, both for typical monolayer (2D) expansion and for streamlined generation of osteogenic ...

Ontological Differences in First Compared to Third Trimester Human Fetal Placental Chorionic Stem Cells [PDF]
Human mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSC) isolated from fetal tissues hold promise for use in tissue engineering applications and cell-based therapies, but their collection is restricted ethically and technically.

5‐Aminolevulinic acid combined with ferric ammonium citrate (5‐ALA/FAC) stimulates dermal papilla cell activity and promotes hair follicle growth. The treatment enhances ERK and AKT signaling, increases hair‐inductive gene expression, and restores dermal papilla function suppressed by dihydrotestosterone and oxidative stress, resulting in enhanced hair

Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) in Tendon Regeneration: A Comprehensive Review
Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) offers a promising solution by replicating the native tendon microenvironment and promoting regeneration. This review highlights advances in the decellularization methods, as well as their integration with emerging technologies and translational progress in tendon tissue engineering.

The Effect of Secretory Factors of Adipose-Derived Stem Cells on Human Keratinocytes [PDF]
The beneficial effects of adipose-derived stem cell conditioned medium (ADSC-CM) on skin regeneration have been reported. Although the mechanism of how ADSC-CM promotes skin regeneration is unclear, ADSC-CM contained various growth factors and it is an excellent raw material for skin treatment.

Characterization of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells as a model for in vitro adipocytes studies [PDF]
Overweight and obesity are major problems of public health in many countries worldwide. Overweight can cause severe diseases such as type II diabetes mellitus, hypertension, stroke, heart failure and several types of cancer.
