Contact Dermatitis, EarlyView.In 3436 consecutively patch‐tested dermatitis patients, gold sensitization was common and increasingly overlapped with other metal allergies, particularly nickel. However, gold sensitization was not associated with autoimmune disease, suggesting that its clinical significance lies more in co‐sensitization than systemic autoimmunity.

Immunology, EarlyView.Human plasmacytoid dendritic cell‐based vaccines efficiently migrate from blood to lymph nodes and prime naive T cells in humanised mice. Irradiation‐induced CD62L shedding, mediated by p38 MAP kinase and ADAM17, is involved in the regulation of PDC migration to secondary lymphoid organs in this model.
