The Role of Natural Killer (NK) Cells in Dengue Virus Infection: A Narrative Review

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims In the innate immune response, natural Killer (NK) cells have a significant role in protection against viral infections, including the Dengue virus (DENV). NK cells identify and eliminate virus‐infected cells through diverse mechanisms, such as cytokine production, cytolytic activity, and antibody‐dependent cellular ...

Donor Pooling as an Effective Method to Increase MSC EV Production Without Compromising Therapeutic Potential

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 5, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Mesenchymal stromal cell extracellular vesicles (MSC EVs) hold great therapeutic potential. Their immunomodulatory abilities make them suitable candidates to treat autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis. However, MSC EV production must be reproducibly scaled to meet the demand of research and therapeutics.

A Phase II Trial of Perioperative Camrelizumab Plus Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Resectable Stage IIB–IIIB Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
This phase II trial suggests the potential of perioperative camrelizumab plus neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with resectable stage IIB‐IIIB lung squamous cell carcinoma. The major pathological response rate (primary endpoint) was 60.0%, and the pathological complete response (pCR) rate was 44.4%.
