Antibody responses to nasopharyngeal carriage of Streptococcus pneumoniae in adults: A longitudinal household study [PDF]
Background. Natural immunity to Streptococcus pneumoniae is thought to be induced by exposure to S. pneumoniae or cross-reactive antigens. No longitudinal studies of carriage of and immune responses to S.

Preparation of IgG Subclass Allotypes from Polyclonal IgG [PDF]
Two allotypes have been identified for each of the IgG subclasses IgG1, IgG2 and IgG3. These allotypes are referred to as G1m(a) and G1m(f), G2m(n) and G2m(‐n), and G3m(g) and G3m(b). Using a pool of normal human serum and a combination of preparative electrophoresis, DEAE ion‐exchange and protein A–Sepharose chromatography, it was possible to separate

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Generating Realistic Urban Patterns: A Controllable cGAN Approach with Hybrid Loss Optimization
This study explores the use of conditional Generative Adversarial Networks (cGANs) for simulating urban morphology, a domain where such models remain underutilized but have significant potential to generate realistic and controllable city patterns.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
