Bioinorganic Site‐Specific Conjugation of Multi‐Arm Linkers to Create Pharmaceuticals With Targeting and Effector Functions

open access: yesJournal of the Chinese Chemical Society, EarlyView.
This Account showcases a modular, multi‐arm linker platform that decouples payload loading from antibody conjugation. By leveraging a computationally designed ACPGHA zinc‐binding motif, we demonstrate the construction of homogeneous antibody‐drug conjugates and theranostic antibody‐radionuclide conjugates with high payload loading. The multi‐arm linker

Urologic Bacteriome: The Hero or the Villain in Prostate Cancer Onset, Progression, and Treatment?

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 4, Page 1111-1151, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most frequently diagnosed cancer in men worldwide and the fifth leading cause of cancer‐related mortality, presenting urgent unmet clinical needs in diagnosis and treatment. The recognition of the microbiome as a key factor in human health has prompted numerous studies, revealing an exciting new approach to ...

An N‐acetyltransferase‐MAPK fusion protein modulates developmental reprogramming in Physcomitrium patens

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 251, Issue 1, Page 321-339, July 2026.
Summary We discovered a previously uncharacterized moss‐specific protein, Rosetta NATD‐MAPK 1 (RAK1) in Physcomitrium patens, which uniquely integrates MAP kinase (MAPK)‐dependent signaling with N‐acetyltransferase activity. Through phenotypical and biochemical analyses, we characterized RAK1 function in the regulation of the 2D‐to‐3D growth transition.

Racemisation of Amino Acids: From Synthetic Challenge to Biological Significance

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
Racemisation, once considered an undesirable synthetic side reaction, also occurs naturally in amino acids and influences biological processes. Evidence links stereochemical conversion to ageing, protein turnover, and cellular development. This review examines mechanisms, control strategies in synthesis, applications and implications in physiology ...

Assessing the fractions of tautomeric forms of the imidazole ring of histidine in proteins as a function of pH [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A method is proposed to determine the fraction of the tautomeric forms of the imidazole ring of histidine in proteins as a function of pH, provided that the observed and chemical shifts and the protein structure, or the fraction of H(+) form, are known ...

An imidazole based H-Phe-Phe-NH 2 peptidomimetic with anti-allodynic effect in spared nerve injury mice

open access: yes, 2018
The dipeptide amide H-Phe-Phe-NH2 (1) that previously was identified as a ligand for the substance P 1-7 (SP1-7) binding site exerts intriguing results in animal models of neuropathic pain after central but not after peripheral administration.

Combined Anserine/Carnosine Exerts Anti‐Hyperuricemic, Nephroprotective, and Gut Microbiota‐Modulating Effects in Hyperuricemia Mice

open access: yesFood Bioengineering, Volume 5, Issue 2, Page 194-208, June 2026.
Mixed carnosine and anserine significantly reduce serum uric acid, protect the kidneys, and modulate gut microbiota, demonstrating potent therapeutic potential against hyperuricemia. ABSTRACT The anti‐hyperuricemic, nephroprotective, and gut microbiota modulation effects of mixed carnosine and anserine (MAC) with the fixed ratio of 10:1 were evaluated ...
