Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Strain and Age Effects on Immobilization Stress in JAX Rabbits
AbstractA brief immobilization stimulus was used in surveying the pituitary adrenal responsiveness of 12 strains of JAX rabbits. Healthy male adult rabbits of 7.3 to 25.3 months in age of the following strains were used: IIIVO/J, III/J, IIIEP/J, IIIC/J, WH/J, X/J, AC/J, ACEP/J, AW/J, AXBU/J, B/J, and OS/J.

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

One of the possible mechanisms of glucose absorption slowing during immobilization stress
An experimental study was performed on outbred male rats. In the first series of chronic experiments we studied the process of glucose absorption in an isolated loop of a jejunum in 12 rats.

Olive oil Ameliorates renal Ischemia-reperfusion-mediated hepatic and renal changes in stressed rats
Background: Renal ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) does not only affect kidneys, but also affects remote organs especially the liver. Stress may lead to further progression of renal and hepatic insults.
