PET imaging of colon cancer CD73 expression using cysteine site-specific 89Zr-labeled anti-CD73 antibody

open access: yesScientific Reports
CD73 is a cell-surface ectoenzyme that hydrolyzes the conversion of extracellular adenosine monophosphate to adenosine, which in turn can promote resistance to immune checkpoint blockade therapy.

Degradomics for large‐scale mechanistic insights on proteases and proteolysis in human health

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Proteolysis has an important role in human disease but remains relatively unexplored. Degradomics, the uncovering of proteolysis in tissues, cells, and proteins, uses mass spectrometry‐based terminomics to identify protein termini occurring therein (forward degradomics) and to define the actions of proteases (reverse degradomics).

89Zr-mAb uptake interpretation requires the use of tissue to plasma ratios corrected for antibody catabolism

open access: yesEJNMMI Research
Background Typically, tissue uptake, expressed in tissue over plasma ratio (TPR), is reported from a 89Zr-mAb PET study. Nonspecific antibody catabolism and the residualizing property of 89Zr hamper the use of tissue uptake as a measure for target ...
