ABSTRACT Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) results from the uncontrolled growth of lymphoid progenitors, yet the immunogenetic factors behind this remain poorly understood. A connection between specific HLA alleles, multi‐locus haplotypes and ALL predisposition was suggested, with an ethnic component to this association.
