Input-to-State Stability of Linear Stochastic Functional Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2016
The purpose of the paper is to show how asymptotic properties, first of all stochastic Lyapunov stability, of linear stochastic functional differential equations can be studied via the property of solvability of the equation in certain pairs of spaces of

Impact of renewable energy penetration rate on power system frequency stability

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
The construction of large-scale renewable energy sources has caused challenges to frequency stability of power system. This paper presents a method to evaluate the frequency stability of power system with high penetration of renewables. Based on input-to-

Input-to-state stability on formation graphs

open access: yesProceedings of the 41st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002., 2003
Formation stability is now analyzed under a new prism using input-to-state stability (ISS). Formation ISS relates leader input to internal state of the formation and characterizes the way this input affects stability performance. Compared to other notions of stability for interconnected systems, formation ISS does not require attenuation of errors as ...

Input-to-State Stability of Singularly Perturbed Control Systems with Delays

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
We study the input-to-state stability of singularly perturbed control systems with delays. By using the generalized Halanay inequality and Lyapunov functions, we derive the input-to-state stability of some classes of linear and nonlinear singularly ...

Input-to-State Stability Analysis for Stochastic Delayed Systems With Markovian Switching

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
This paper is concerned with the input-to-state stability (ISS) and integral input-to-state stability (iISS) of stochastic delayed systems with Markovian switching. By using the multiple Lyapunovlike function and Lyapunov-Krasovskii function methods, the

Input-to-State Stability of Nonlinear Impulsive Systems [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2013
We prove that impulsive systems, which possess an ISS Lyapunov function, are ISS for time sequences satisfying the fixed dwell-time condition. If an ISS Lyapunov function is the exponential one, we provide a stronger result, which guarantees uniform ISS of the whole system over sequences satisfying the generalized average dwell-time condition.

Input/Output-to-State Stability of Impulsive Switched Systems With Time Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we study the input/output-to-state stability (IOSS) of impulsive switched systems with time delays, where the derivative of Lyapunov functions are assumed to be time-varying and mode-dependent.

On characterisations of the input to state stability properties for conformable fractional order bilinear systems

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2022
This paper proposes for the first time the theoretical requirements that a fractional‐order bilinear system with conformable derivative has to fulfil in order to satisfy different input‐to‐state stability (ISS) properties.

Event-based robust stabilization for delayed systems with parameter uncertainties and exogenous disturbances

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
In this paper, the robust stabilization problem is studied for a class of delayed systems with parameter uncertainties and unknown-but-bounded exogenous disturbances. The robust input-to-state practical stability (RISpS) is introduced to characterize the

Design of time-varying input-to-state stability tracking control Lyapunov functions for disturbance attenuation

open access: yesSICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration, 2021
In this study, we address limitations of the existing methods of disturbance attenuation for nonlinear control systems. We focus on scenarios with trajectory tracking in differentially flat systems.
