Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Weak input-to-state stability: Characterizations and counterexamples
S.433-454We establish characterizations of weak input-to-state stability for abstract dynamical systems with inputs, which are similar to characterizations of uniform and of strong input-to-state stability established in a recent paper by A.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Single-Piece State-Space Behavioral Models for IC Output Buffers [PDF]
In this paper enhancements of parametric behavioral models for the output buffers of digital ICs are explored. A model based on a single-piece structure, which offers improved accuracy in describing state transition events for arbitrary load conditions ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Input-to-State Stability for Dynamical Neural Networks with Time-Varying Delays
A class of dynamical neural network models with time-varying delays is considered. By employing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) technique, some new sufficient conditions ensuring the input-to-state ...

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Towards ℓ2-stability of discrete-time reset control systems via dissipativity theory [PDF]
This paper proposes conditions on input-output stability of discrete-time reset systems by using some key dissipativity properties. In the continuous-time setting, dissipativity of the base linear system is preserved under reset actions if the storage ...
