TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Exponential input-to-state stability for Lur’e systems via Integral Quadratic Constraints and Zames-Falb Multipliers

open access: yes
Absolute stability criteria which are sufficient for global exponential stability are shown, under a Lipschitz assumption, to be sufficient for the a priori stronger exponential input-to-state stability property. Important corollaries of this result are:

Robust Trajectory Tracking Control for Fully Actuated Marine Surface Vehicle

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper we present a robust trajectory tracking control for a fully actuated marine surface vehicle. The tracking controller is obtained using a port-Hamiltonian model of the marine craft and includes an integral action to compensate for constant ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Input-to-State Stability for Impulsive Gilpin-Ayala Competition Model With Reaction Diffusion and Delayed Feedback

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This study focuses on the input-to-state stability issue for impulsive Gilpin-Ayala competition model with reaction diffusion and delayed feedback. By using a fixed point theorem, variational method and Lyapunov function method, the unique existence of ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Four-channel Control of Master-slave Robotic System with User’s Force Transfer during Obstacle Collision at the Remote Site based on Input-to-state Stability [PDF]

open access: yesهوش محاسباتی در مهندسی برق
The possibility of transferring the sense and force of the user on the driver side to the follower robot has always been discussed in master/slave systems. It has gained special importance in recent research.
