Data-driven input-to-state stabilization

open access: yesCoRR
For the class of nonlinear input-affine systems with polynomial dynamics, we consider the problem of designing an input-to-state stabilizing controller with respect to typical exogenous signals in a feedback control system, such as actuator and process disturbances.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

A linear dissipativity approach to incremental input-to-state stability for a class of positive Lur’e systems

open access: yes
Incremental stability properties are considered for certain systems of forced, nonlinear differential equations with a particular positivity structure. An incremental stability estimate is derived for pairs of input/state/output trajectories of the Lur'e

Input-to-State Stability of Nonlinear Switched Systems via Lyapunov Method Involving Indefinite Derivative

open access: yesComplexity, 2018
This paper studies the input-to-state stability (ISS) of nonlinear switched systems. By using Lyapunov method involving indefinite derivative and average dwell-time (ADT) method, some sufficient conditions for ISS are obtained.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Improved input‐to‐state stability criteria for time‐varying switched singular systems

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications
This paper is dedicated to proposing improved input‐to‐state stability (ISS) criteria for a class of continuous‐time time‐varying switched singular systems (CTSSS) under slow/fast/slow‐fast switching signals.

Tracking Control of High Order Input Reference Using Integrals State Feedback and Coefficient Diagram Method Tuning

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The purpose of the research is tracking control to follow the input reference signal such as step, ramp, parabolic, and high order reference stably. The challenge is rising when high order input references, such as parabolic or polynomial, are used in ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Stability of Forced Higher-Order Continuous-Time Lur'e Systems: a Behavioural Input-Output Perspective

open access: yes, 2023
We consider a class of forced continuous-time Lur'e systems obtained by applying nonlinear feedback to a higher-order linear differential equation which defines an input-output system in the sense of behavioural systems theory.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
