Distributed model predictive control with saturated inputs by a saturation‐dependent Lyapunov function

Optimal Control Applications and Methods, 2016
SummaryIn this paper, distributed model predictive control (MPC) problems are considered for input‐saturated polytopic uncertain systems by a saturation‐dependent Lyapunov function approach. The actuator saturation is processed by the transformation into the linear convex combination form.

Polynomial-input-type final-state control taking account of input saturation

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2011
Abstract A final-state control method based on a polynomial input with a time-symmetry assumption was proposed. However, the method can not consider the saturation of control input. When a positioning time is shorten, it is inevitable to consider the input saturation to achieve a faster positioning time.

Dynamic matrix control with input saturation constrained

Anais do Congresso Brasileiro de Automática 2020, 2020
It is proposed, in this paper a dynamic matrix control (DMC) with an anti-windup (AW) based on linear matrix inequalities (LMI). The DMC-AW control is applied in the ballbeam system, in which the main purpose is to control the ball position on a rotating beam. System modeling was performed, which presented two degrees of freedom.

Fictitious reference iterative tuning considering input saturation

IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2015
This letter presents a simple control method that can alleviate the influence of input saturation by the so‐called fictitious reference iterative tuning and anti‐windup proportional–integral–derivative (PID) control architecture. The effectiveness of the presented method is demonstrated through experiments with a DC motor control system.

Integrated guidance and control with input saturation

2017 36th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2017
Based on backstepping control technique, a novel adaptive integrated guidance and control (IGC) law is presented for missile intercepting maneuvering target with input saturation. To deal with the uncertainties in the IGC system, adaptive control technique is utilized to estimate the upper bounds of the uncertainties.

Near-Optimal Control with Input Saturation

2019
In this chapter, a time-scale expansion-based scheme is presented for approximately solving the optimal control problem of continuous-time underactuated nonlinear systems subject to input constraints and system dynamics. By time-scale Taylor approximation of the original performance index, the optimal control problem is relaxed into an approximated ...

Adaptive output feedback control with input saturation

Proceedings of the 2003 American Control Conference, 2003., 2004
We consider the problem of adaptive output feedback control in the presence of saturating input characteristic. The adaptive control architecture augments an existing linear control design. The approach is applicable to non-affine, nonlinear systems with both parametric uncertainty and unmodeled dynamics subject to input saturation.

Adaptive Pole-Placement Control with Input Saturations

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1996
Abstract This paper presents an adaptive pole-placement technique for SISO linear time-invariant stable systems with integrators subject to saturations on both the control variable and its increment. First, an antiwindup scheme is presented and BIBO stability is proven in the non adaptive case.

Feedback cooperative control for releasing input saturation

Proceedings of the 2004 IEEE International Conference on Control Applications, 2004., 2005
In this paper output unreachability under input saturation phenomenon is studied: under a large disturbance or set-point change, the process output may never reach the set-point even when the manipulated variable has been driven to saturation. The process output can only be brought back to the set-point by activating an auxiliary manipulated variable ...
