Single nucleotide polymorphism in Egyptian cattle insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 gene
Insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) gene is a structural gene responsible for the multiple influences of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) system. It is considered as a candidate gene for growth and production traits.

Tumor-stroma derived gene expression patterns as prognosticators in breast cancer [PDF]
The stroma, which embeds epithelial cells, plays a major role in the shaping and physiological regulation of animal organs such as the breast. Aberrant functioning of the stroma was found to support tumorigenesis and cancer progression.

Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.

The insulin‐like growth factor binding proteins in uncultured human cartilage: Increases in insulin‐like growth factor binding protein 3 during osteoarthritis [PDF]
AbstractObjectiveTo assess changes in the insulin‐like growth factor binding proteins (IGFBPs) in uncultured cartilage during stages of osteoarthritis (OA), and to determine if OA cartilage is capable of autocrine secretion of IGFBPs.MethodsArticular cartilage was dissected from fibrillated and nonfibrillated sites of 11 human femoral heads, and ...

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

The role of hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor in hepatoblastoma and hepatocellular carcinoma progression [PDF]
Hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor (HGF/SF) is a ubiquitously expressed molecule that elicits pleiotropic functions on epithelial cells, including mitogenic, motogenic, differentiating, angiogenic, and morphogenic effects. The receptor for HGF/SF is
