Intact protein mass spectrometry and top-down proteomics [PDF]
American Society for Mass Spectrometry Sanibel meeting on top-down mass spectrometry St Pete Beach, FL, USA, 24-27 January 2013 Top-down mass spectrometry involves analysis of intact proteins, typically using electrospray ionization, as multiple charging enhances dissociation and thus identification by comparison of precursor and product ion masses ...

Ambient surface mass spectrometry–ion mobility spectrometry of intact proteins
Ambient surface mass spectrometry encompasses a broad range of sampling and ionization techniques. To date, only a small subset of these, based on liquid microjunction extraction, have proven suitable for intact protein analysis from thin tissue sections. Liquid extraction surface analysis shows particular promise for this application.

Charge Reduction Stabilizes Intact Membrane Protein Complexes for Mass Spectrometry [PDF]
The study of intact soluble protein assemblies by means of mass spectrometry is providing invaluable contributions to structural biology and biochemistry. A recent breakthrough has enabled similar study of membrane protein complexes, following their release from detergent micelles in the gas phase.

Recent Progress in FD-LC-MS/MS Proteomics Method
Through the course of our bio-analytical chemistry studies, we developed a novel proteomics analysis method, FD-LC-MS/MS (fluorogenic derivatization-liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry). This method consists of fluorogenic derivatization (FD),
