The research utilized a case–control approach to contrast patients experiencing unscheduled readmissions with those undergoing planned readmissions due to staged surgery. Findings indicated a 3.88% rate of unscheduled readmissions, mainly linked to adjacent segment disease, with 3.35% necessitating reoperation.

Developed a staging system for adjacent segment disease based on degeneration characteristics. Verified the feasibility and reliability of stage‐guided surgical decision‐making through surgical data, radiological data, and follow‐up data. This staging system was closely correlated with intervertebral disc degeneration and disc height while also ...

The use of IFDs to reconstruct the anterior and middle column defects following PVCR demonstrated a high incidence of poor matching (40.2%). The Cobb angle of segmental kyphosis, the angle between osteotomy surfaces, and the height of IFDs are identified as independent risk factors for poor matching of IFDs after PVCR.
