Exhalation Delivery Systems for Application of Intranasal Corticosteroids [PDF]
Background: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a common sinonasal disorder which results in significant inflammation in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Topical nasal steroids play an important role in the treatment of CRS.

We present a novel proteolysis‐targeting chimera (PROTAC) system conjugated to lipoic acid gold nanoclusters (PLANC), designed to degrade pTau, regulate inflammatory signaling, and effectively traverse the blood‐brain barrier (BBB). PLANC degraded pTau at various phosphorylation sites, with mechanistic studies confirming proteasome‐mediated degradation

QBP1 Peptide as a Potential Anti‐Amyloidogenic Therapy for Type 2 Diabetes: An In Vitro Study
The anti‐amyloidogenic peptide QBP1 effectively halts human islet amyloid polypeptide (hIAPP) aggregation, preventing the formation of toxic β‐structured intermediates. Through a combination of biophysical assays, molecular dynamics, and cell‐based studies, QBP1 is shown to preserve β‐cell viability and metabolic homeostasis, positioning it as a ...

This study reveals that metformin promotes glucuronic acid metabolism in lung adenocarcinoma by activating UGDH S476 phosphorylation and enhancing the conversion of UDPG to UDPGA based on metabolomics analysis. Through compound virtual screening, it is found that plantainoside targeting UGDH downstream UXS1 leads to UDPGA toxicity accumulation ...

Emulsomes: new lipidic carriers for drug delivery with special mention to brain drug transport
Background Emulsomes are a type of lipid-based nanoparticle that consists of a solid lipid core surrounded by a phospholipid bilayer and have shown promise as drug delivery systems for a variety of applications. The major advantageous aspect of employing

Ru–Mn composite nanozymes are engineered to mimic dual‐enzyme cascade catalysis, enabling efficient ROS clearance and neuroinflammation suppression. In collagenase‐ and autologous blood‐induced ICH mouse models, intranasal and intravenous administration reduced hematoma volume, preserved BBB integrity, and improved neurological recovery.

Upon inhalation, RM@TNT could persist long‐term in the diseased lungs, while undergoing disintegration to release TNT specifically within the ROS‐rich pathological microenvironments of SA‐ARDS. The released TNT was then precisely delivered to AMs via Tuftsin, where it released Nob intracellularly to activate BMAL1 expression, thus inhibiting AM ...
