Condensation of Indole with Isatin over AlCl3/Mesoporous Aluminosilicate
Aluminium chloride immobilized on mesoporous aluminosilicate was investigated as catalysts in the condensation of isatin with indole. AlCl3/mesoporous aluminosilicate (AlCl3/AM) catalysts were prepared by impregnation of 1, 5, 10 and 15 wt% AlCl3 on the ...

Abstract The attraction of adopting natural and bio‐based colourants in applications has grown, but their use suffers from a lack of certification bodies, standards and reference data. In the BioColour project, we are developing an open database and tools for the characterisation, authentication and quality analysis of biocolourant sources ...

Synthesis, Characterisation and Biological Activity Screening Of Schiff Base Ligands Containing Isatin and Their Metal Complexes [PDF]
Six new Schiff bases formed from the condensation reaction of S-benzyldithiocarbazate (SBDTC) and S-methyldithiocarbazate (SMDTC) with selected diketones containing isatin derivatives namely isatin, 5-fluroisatin, 5-chloroisatin, 5-bromoisatin and ...

1-Benzyl-5-methylindoline-2,3-dione
The title compound, C16H13NO2, is an isatin (indole-2,3-dione) derivative. The isatin moiety is almost planar with an r.m.s. deviation of 0.022 Å, and its mean plane makes a dihedral angle of 74.19 (12)° with the benzyl ring.

The reaction of 4-(phenyl)thiosemicarbazide with isatin yielded a new ligand, isatin-3-(N4-benzylthiosemicarbazone). Isatin-3-(N4-benzylthiosemicarbazone) deprotonated in ethanol/KOH reacts with an ethanolic solution of Hg(NO3)2 to give a mercury complex.

A microwave‐assisted synthesis enabled the efficient preparation of novel 2‐styrylquinoline‐4‐carboxamides with potent antiproliferative activity against lymphoma cell lines. Among them, compound 4i induced G₂/M arrest and mitochondria‐mediated apoptosis, showing selectivity for tumor over healthy cells.
