Adaptive Tolerance of Listeria monocytogenes to Chemical Oxidants: Comparative Analysis of Transcriptomic Studies

open access: yesComprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety, Volume 24, Issue 5, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogen that poses significant challenges to food safety and public health due to its ability to adapt to harsh environments, particularly those found in food processing facilities. This review explores the global transcriptional responses of L.

Infantile Cerebellar‐Retinal Degeneration Associated With Novel ACO2 Variants: Clinical Features and Insights From a Drosophila Model

open access: yesClinical Genetics, Volume 108, Issue 3, Page 266-278, September 2025.
Our Translational Loop integrates patient genetic data with Drosophila models to study disease mechanisms. We identified ACO2 variants in a patient linked to ICRD and show that our animal model mirrors key aspects of the disease. These insights help pinpoint therapeutic targets, advancing research toward treatments for rare genetic disorders.

Mapping Quantitative Trait Loci for Bioenergy Traits in Multiple Hybrid Populations of Lowland Switchgrass in Simulated‐Sward Planting

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy, Volume 17, Issue 9, September 2025.
Switchgrass holds significant potential as a bioenergy crop, with its bioenergy traits exhibiting quantitative inheritance. This study employed quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping to localize genetic variations in these traits, estimated using near‐infrared spectroscopy (NIRS).
