Inositol and Berberine Synergistically Reprogram Endocrine and Ovarian Metabolism in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
In a DHEA+HFD‐induced mouse model, Ins/BBR alleviated mitochondrial defects and broadly reprogrammed metabolic landscape in granulosa cells, in specific, restoring nucleotide pools and amino acid turnover, and preventing abnormal long‐chain fatty acid accumulation.

Mining key genes of alkaloid synthesis pathway in lotus leaves based on metabolomics and transcriptomics

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2023
In order to explore the molecular mechanism of alkaloid biosynthesis in lotus leaves, metabolomics and transcriptomics sequencing analyses were performed on mature lotus leaves of ‘Taikong Lian’ (high alkaloid content), ‘Juwuba’ (medium alkaloid content)

Curare - Botany, Chemistry, and Pharmacology [PDF]

open access: yesActa Amazonica, 1988
Some aspects of curare research carried out over the last 25 years are discussed. Accepting a pharmacological rather than purely ethnological definition means, that curares are not limited to South America but that they are also known from Central Africa

Poplar miR1447 Is a Negative Regulator of Disease Resistance Through the SA‐Dependent Pathway

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although microRNA1447 (miR1447) regulates poplar responses to abiotic stress and pest infestation, how miR1447 regulates poplar immunity against pathogens and its underlying molecular mechanisms remain to be elucidated. Here, we revealed that miR1447 functioned as a negative regulator of poplar disease resistance against fungal and bacterial ...
