Selective Inhibition of Integrin β3 Topology Provides a Safer Antithrombotic Strategy
Current integrin αIIbβ3 inhibitors effectively reduce thrombosis but also increase bleeding risk. During thrombosis, high shear blood flow can directly activate the integrin αIIbβ3 via a distinct topological change in the β3 transmembrane domain, independent of hemostatic platelet signaling.

A simple guanidinium isothiocyanate method for bacterial genomic DNA isolation
A high-quality and low-cost genomic DNA isolation method is needed for use in microbiology laboratories. In this study, we developed a new modified guanidinium isothiocyanate method to isolate DNA from Escherichia coli, Salmonella enterica subsp.

A developmentally inspired bioprinting approach enables the fabrication of pluripotent tissues that undergo shape‐morphing and in situ cardiac lineage specification. This method employs embedded bioprinting to deposit iPSCs within soft granular hydrogels to create pluripotent tissue constructs that undergo cell‐mediated shape morphogenesis.

Addition-cyclization reactions of 2-pyridyl isothiocyanate
Addition-cyclization reactions of 2-pyridyl isothiocyanate with enamines and C-acids afforded derivatives containing pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine skeleton. Cyclization with a series of phenylhydrazones gave substituted triazolidines.

Multidrug‐resistant Vibrio infections are rising rapidly and threaten coastal populations worldwide. This study introduces D‐zp37, a chirality‐engineered antimicrobial peptide with exceptional potency against resistant Vibrio species. D‐zp37 kills planktonic cells, blocks mixed‐species biofilms, disrupts essential bacterial stress responses, and shows ...

Vibrational analysis of germyl isothiocyanate and its isotope
A complete vibrational analysis of the germyl isothiocyanate and its isotope is described in this paper. A general Valence Force Field has been computed for these molecules, belonging to C3v symmetry, using the fundamental frequencies obtained from the ...

Highly Biomimetic Ectodermal Epithelial Organoids for Epithelial Barrier Stimulation Assays
ABSTRACT Evaluating the potential toxicity of pharmaceuticals and biomaterials to ectodermal epithelia, such as the oral mucosa and skin, is indispensable in pre‐clinical assessments. However, this remains a challenge primarily owing to the lack of physiologically relevant and accurate screening models.
