Asymmetric Synthesis of Functionalized 2‑Isoxazolines [PDF]
The asymmetric synthesis of the isoxazoline skeleton was achieved by the oxidation of hydroxylaminoalkyl furan prepared from simple starting materials: 2-methylfuran and (S)-epichlorohydrin. The synthesis features an NBS-mediated oxidation of hydroxylaminoalkyl furan to give an α,β-unsaturated ketone intermediate which cyclized to the isoxazoline.

Nitrile Oxide, Alkenes, Dipolar Cycloaddition, Isomerization and Metathesis Involved in the Syntheses of 2-Isoxazolines [PDF]
The involvement of 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (1,3-DP), double bond migration, metathesis, and nitrile oxide (including in situ-generated nitrile oxide) as dipoles, together with the C=C bond containing dipolarophiles, in the syntheses of 2-isoxazolines ...

Novel Synthesis of Dihydroisoxazoles by p-TsOH-Participated 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition of Dipolarophiles withα-Nitroketones [PDF]
This article reports in detail a method for the synthesis of 3-benzoxoxazoline by the reaction of alkenes (alkynes) and a variety of α-nitroketones in the presence of p-TsOH. The scope of alkenes is broad, including different alkenes and the alkyne. This

N–O Cleavage reactions of heterobicycloalkene-fused 2-isoxazolines [PDF]
Transition metal-mediated N–O bond cleavage reactions of heterobicycloalkene-fused 3-methyl-2-isoxazolines were investigated. Optimal cleavage conditions were found with Raney nickel/AlCl3 mediation in aqueous methanol.

Effects of RDL GABA Receptor Point Mutants on Susceptibility to Meta-Diamide and Isoxazoline Insecticides in Drosophila melanogaster [PDF]
Ionotropic γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in insects, specifically those composed of the RDL (resistant to dieldrin) subunit, serve as important targets for commonly used synthetic insecticides. These insecticides belong to various chemical classes,
