Solubilization of inorganic phosphate and production of organic acids by bacteria isolated from a Moroccan mineral phosphate deposit [PDF]
Three efficient inorganic-phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) were isolated from a phosphate rock deposit of a Moroccan mine. The phosphate solubilization index of these isolates, determined in National Botanical Research Institute's phosphate (NBRIP ...

The conversion of citrulline to arginine in kidney [PDF]
Glycocyamine is formed in the kidney by the transfer of the amidine group of arginine to the nitrogen atom of glycine. In the study of this reaction it was observed that glycocyamine was also formed from citrulline and glycine.

Seed vigor, aging, and osmopriming affect anion and sugar leakage during imbition of maize (Zea mays L.) caryopses [PDF]
Conductivity was significantly increased by aging and decreased by osmopriming of maize (Zea mays L.) caryopses. Chloride, phosphate, and sulfate were the main anions that leaked out of maize seeds; their leakage was closely related to conductivity ...

A biomimetic Prussian White nanoparticle (PW) is engineered to achieve long‐term local retention and orchestrate immunometabolic‐epigenetic remodeling for sciatic nerve regeneration. PW directly targets hexokinase 2 to suppress glycolysis, thereby elevating α‐ketoglutarate and driving Kdm4a/b‐mediated demethylation of H3K9me3.

This study found that the metabolomic signature of umbilical venous cord blood in congenital heart disease (CHD) differs from that of healthy monozygotic (MZ) co‐twins. Dysregulation of metabolic pathways like glucose, lipid, and amino acid metabolism, along with altered metabolites, helps understand CHD predisposition.

Feeding with tannin‐rich diets altered the fecal microbial composition and increased the relative abundance of tannin‐degrading microbes. We hypothesize that fecal bacteria and fungi may play important roles in helping herbivores adapt to tannin‐rich diets but respond to different tannin concentrations varies.
