3D‐Printed Shark‐Inspired Soft–Hard Hybrid Underwater Robot With Buoyancy Control and Onboard Vision
A fully self‐contained shark‐inspired underwater robot is developed using 3D‐printed soft–hard hybrid structures, servo‐driven propulsion, and pump‐based buoyancy control. The platform achieves three‐dimensional locomotion and onboard vision‐based target tracking, offering a reproducible and accessible framework for biomimetic underwater robot research.

A bioinspired triphasic scaffold integrating 3D printed polycaprolactone and electrospun poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) is developed to replicate the organization of the tendon‐to‐bone enthesis. Cyclic mechanical stimulation induces spatially defined cell morphology and lineage‐related gene expression in human mesenchymal stem cells, highlighting the ...

Abstract Basking sharks, Cetorhinus maximus (Gunnerus, Brugden [Squalus maximus], Det Kongelige Norske Videnskabers Selskabs Skrifter, 1765, vol. 3, pp. 33–49), feed by gaping their mouths and gill slits, greatly reorienting their cranial skeletons to filter food from water.

Trabecular bone ontogeny of the human talus
Abstract Studies of trabecular ontogeny may provide insight into the factors that drive healthy bone development. There is a growing understanding of how the juvenile skeleton responds to these influences; however, gaps in our knowledge remain. This study aims to identify ontogenetic trabecular patterns and regional changes during development within ...

Abstract The human mandibular symphysis concentrates multiaxial loads during function and remodels throughout growth, but the precise mechanisms underlying cortical bone shape during growth remain relatively unexplored. Approaches based solely on thickness or external cortical contours provide only partial insights and do not capture the functional ...

ABSTRACT Below the classical fortress of Samikon at the coast of the western Peloponnese, ancient writer Strabo mentioned a sanctuary of Poseidon which served as the centre of the religious association of the Triphylian cities. In this paper, we describe the discovery and investigation of a building structure by means of geophysical and ...
