The formation of mono‐, dual‐, and triple‐species biofilms by L. monocytogenes, S. aureus, and E. coli was characterized by cell growth, metabolic activity, staining, and microscopy. Their resistance to a commercial disinfectant (NaOCl) and natural agents such as vinegar and lactic acid was evaluated.

Plastic Diets Drive Microbiome and Metabolic Reprogramming in Wax Moth Larvae (Achroia grisella)
Wax moth larvae (Achroia grisella) can consume LDPE and PLA, triggering polymer‐specific restructuring of the gut microbiome and host metabolism. LDPE feeding enriches Bacillus spp. and is associated with shifts in carbohydrate and amino‐acid pathways consistent with hydrocarbon processing, whereas PLA feeding enriches Enterococcus spp.

Piscine lactococcosis, a bacterial disease caused by Lactococcus garvieae, L. petauri and L. formosensis, induces mass mortalities in multiple farmed fish species globally. Following the identification of L. petauri as one of the emerging etiological agents of piscine lactococcosis, it was revealed that the majority of isolates previously recognized as

Brain abscess caused by lactococcus lactis in a young male
Lactococcus lactis cremoris is one of the gram positive cocci, not known to be pathogenic in humans. We report a case of brain abscess due to lactococcus lactis in an adolescent. An 18-year male with congenitally corrected transposition of great arteries

Food Safety and Nutritional Aspects of Plant‐Based Dairy and Meat Alternatives: A Review
Plant‐based dairy and meat alternatives (PBDA and PBMA) offer sustainability benefits but also introduce chemical and microbiological hazards to the diet. Key concerns include emerging mycotoxins, heavy metals, process contaminants, and heat‐resistant spore‐forming bacteria.
