Research on multi-lane energy-saving driving strategy of connected electric vehicle based on vehicle speed prediction

open access: yesGreen Energy and Intelligent Transportation, 2023
In order to enhance the energy-saving potential of electric vehicles, a lane change decision method based on vehicle-to-everything (V2X) is designed to further improve the economics of intelligent connected electric vehicles.

Two-Lane Lattice Hydrodynamic Modeling at Sag Sections With the Empirical Lane-Changing Rate

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Sag sections are freeway sections where the gradient varies significantly from top to bottom. Due to their special geometric characteristics, sag sections are often bottlenecks in motorway networks.

SUMO’s Lane-Changing Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
SUMO is an open source microscopic traffic simulation. A major component of modelling microscopic vehicle behavior is the lane-changing behavior on multi-lane roads. We describe a new model which uses a 4-layered hierarchy of motivations to determine the vehicle behavior during every simulation step and motivate in which ways it improves the current ...

Managing lane-changing of algorithm-assisted drivers [PDF]

open access: yesTransportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, 2020
Theoretical models of vehicular traffic ascribe the fundamental cause of velocity oscillations and stop-and-go waves to suboptimal or unpredictable human driving behavior. In this paper we ask: if vehicles were controlled or assisted by algorithms, and hence driven “optimally,” would these phenomena simply go away?

The Study of Location Specific Lane Change Impacts on Traffic Delay using Extended Cell Transmission Model

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
This paper comprehensively evaluates the influence of location specific lane change executions on delay and queue length. The extended macroscopic Cell Transmission Model (CTM) based lane change model has been developed by adopting the formulations of ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Lane Change Detection With Smartphones: A Steering Wheel-Based Approach

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Lane change is a valuable piece of traffic information. An abnormally high number of lane changes on a road section typically suggests that some lanes are blocked due to traffic incidents.

The neural crest‐associated gene ERRFI1 is involved in melanoma progression and resistance toward targeted therapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Lane-changing risk analysis of passenger cars on highways based on the HighD dataset

open access: yesShenzhen Daxue xuebao. Ligong ban
To investigate the microscopic lane-changing behavior characteristics and associated risk for passenger cars on highways, we extracted lane-changing trajectories of the subject vehicle and driving data of surrounding vehicles from the HighD dataset.
