Interleukin-2 is a potent latency reversal agent in people with treated HIV-1
Eliciting HIV-1 expression from latently infected CD4 + T cells allows these rare reservoir cells to become targets of the immune system and may also result in death of reservoir cells via virus-induced cytopathy.

Characterizing the Effects of PKC Modulator HIV Latency Reversing Agents on Kick and Kill Strategies [PDF]
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) remains a significant global health challenge, despite advancements in treatment. Antiretroviral therapy (ART) suppresses viral replication, but is not a cure.

Dysregulated TCA cycle contributes to Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis. Here, we show that microglial isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a critical driver. Elevated IDH1 disrupts citrate metabolism and mitochondrial function, exacerbating AD pathology.

Covalent Reprogramming of Kinase Binders to Modulate Protein Abundance
Electrophilic remodeling of a broad‐spectrum kinase binder reveals how subtle chemical changes reprogram protein fate. An acrylamide analog of a multi‐kinase binder selectively stabilizes Aurora kinase A (AURKA) by suppressing its ubiquitination, while a short‐linker variant converts this stabilizer into a degrader.

This study reveals that Alzheimer's disease–linked APP expression in bone‐forming cells drives skull bone marrow remodeling and alters its vascular connections to the brain. These changes disrupt immune cell trafficking, cerebral blood flow, and cognition. Targeting bone marrow macrophages restores brain function, highlighting a previously unrecognized
