LC-HRMS ANALYSIS AND ISOLATION OF BIOACTIVE COMPOUNDS FROM SONGGA WOOD (Strychnos ligustrina) USING RADIAL CHROMATOGRAPHY

open access: yes
Songga Wood (Strychnos ligustrina) is a traditional medicinal plant that has been used to treat malaria, rheumatism, and wounds. The therapeutic potential of this species is primarily attributed to its secondary metabolites, particularly alkaloids, which

From apex to base: Uncovering spatial metabolic adaptation in Antarctic mosses

open access: yesBulletin of the Korean Chemical Society, EarlyView.
Antarctic mosses survive extreme cold, desiccation, UV exposure, and oxidative stress. We analyzed three species by separating apical, middle, and basal zones. Each zone showed distinct metabolite patterns and biological roles, revealing spatial metabolic specialization. The results suggest that whole‐plant survival depends on coordinated contributions

Green Organizational System and Organizational Identification: The Roles of Career Ecological Fit and Environmental Concern

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines how a green organizational system (GOS) shapes employees' organizational identification. Drawing on person‐environment fit theory and organizational identification research, we conceptualize GOS as a distinct system‐level construct comprising aligned green leadership, culture, and HRM practices.

A Selectfluor‐based Polonovski Rearrangement Leading to Novel Entities for Synthetic and Medicinal Applications

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Starting from carboxylic acids and Selectfluor‐derivatives, functionalized diazabicyclooctanes can be obtained via a novel Polonovski‐type rearrangement proceeding under mild reaction conditions. Besides their use in organic synthesis the unique structure and reactivity of the rearrangement products enables applications in medicinal chemistry ...

Control of Gemcitabine Activity With Blue and Red Light

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Treating cancer with chemotherapy is generally associated with many side effects, which can be addressed by selectively releasing the desired drugs with visible light. Sixteen new blue light‐activatable cytostatics were introduced, with the gemcitabine derivative exhibiting ideal properties.

Multimodal Fluorescent MOF@BODIPY Platform: Bridging Sensing and Mechanistic Insight

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hybrid metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) that integrate organic chromophores constitute powerful platforms for optical sensing by combining structural order with tunable photophysics. Incorporating photoresponsive chromophores into MOFs enables sensitive probing of guest–framework interactions through well‐defined luminescent signatures. Herein,

Rhodium‐Catalyzed Synthesis of Enantioenriched α‐Substituted Primary Amines Through Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Enantioenriched α‐substituted primary amines are efficiently prepared by rhodium‐catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ortho‐hydroxyaryl N─H imines under mild conditions using a low catalyst loading and ammonium formate as the hydrogen source in high yields (up to 99%) and enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee).
