Nickel‐Catalyzed Three‐Component Difluoroalkylation‐Amination for the Direct Access to Anti‐Inflammatory β‐Difluoroalkyl Amines

A nickel‐catalyzed three‐component reductive fluoroalkylation‐amination strategy of N‐vinylamides for the direct access to the α‐amidyl‐β‐difluoroalkyl amines was reported here. The synthetic method features with broad substrate scope, mild conditions, high functional group tolerance, and convenience to handle.

A de‐novo Approach Towards Divergent [3+2π/σ] Photocycloadditions of Nitrones via Assembly‐Controlled Kinetic Electron Transfer Gating

A metal‐free photocatalytic platform converts nitrones into 4‐isoxazolines and oxa–aza–bicycloheptanes through divergent [3+2π/σ] cycloadditions. Assembly‐controlled kinetic electron transfer gating dictates substrate activation, enabling selective reactivity beyond thermodynamic expectations.

NiH‐Catalyzed Enantio‐ and Regioselective Hydroselenylation of Unactivated Alkenes

Nickel‐hydride‐catalyzed enantio‐ and regioselective hydroselenylation of unactivated alkenes provides access to chiral organoselenium compounds. Enantiodetermining Ni–H insertion followed by single‐electron diselenide activation generates selenyl radical.

Backbone Steric Constraints Underlie High Passive Membrane Permeability of N‐Alkyl Peptides

Beyond amide hydrogen removal, steric constraints encoded in N/Cα‐dually substituted backbones are uncovered as a key determinant of passive membrane permeability in N‐alkyl peptides. These constraints restrict conformational freedom and sterically limit backbone hydration during membrane permeation.

The effect of microwave pre-treatment of rapeseed on the degradation kinetics of lipophilic bioactive compounds of the oil during storage

This study examined the storage stability of tocochromanols and carotenoids in the oils prepared from microwave pre-treated (MV) rapeseeds (2-10 min, 800W) during storage at 20 °C for 12 months. In line with lipophilic antioxidant degradation throughout the storage period, changes in the antioxidant capacity of the oil were monitored.
