A nanounit‐assembled hydrogel employing a “pull‐and‐push” strategy simultaneously scavenges pro‐inflammatory cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and delivers regenerative therapeutics in response to burn‐induced hyperthermia. By repolarizing macrophages and promoting angiogenesis, this multifunctional platform accelerates burn wound healing, offering a blueprint for

The implication of dendritic cells in lung diseases: Immunological role of toll-like receptor 4
The immune responses play a profound role in the progression of lung lesions in both infectious and non-infectious diseases. Dendritic cells, as the “frontline” immune cells responsible for antigen presentation, set up a bridge between innate and ...

Systems Biological Approaches Reveal Non-additive Responses and Multiple Crosstalk Mechanisms between TLR and GPCR Signaling [PDF]
A variety of ligands differ in their capacity to bind the receptor, elicit gene expression, and modulate physiological responses. Such receptors include Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which recognize various patterns of pathogens and lead to primary innate ...

Lipopolysaccharide increases bitter taste sensitivity via epigenetic changes in Tas2r gene clusters
Summary: T2R bitter receptors, encoded by Tas2r genes, are not only critical for bitter taste signal transduction but also important for defense against bacteria and parasites.

A biomimetic aerogel conduit was engineered from a nanofiber of gelatin/poly(l‐lactic acid) doped with polypyrrole nanoparticles, integrated with tannic acid and Mg2+. This “electro‐ionic‐immune” strategy mimicked spinal cord properties, reduced calcium overload, inflammation, oxidative damage, promoted neural stem cell differentiation, suppressed ...

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

Tuning Mechanoreceptor Signaling Enhances the Adjuvant Effect of Biomaterial Vaccines
Matrix stiffness serves as an independent immunological signal in biomaterial vaccines. Stiffer microporous hydrogel vaccines enhance dendritic cell maturation and migration to draining lymph nodes, promote T follicular helper cell expansion through Yap/Taz signaling, and increase antigen‐specific antibody production.
